As a major country in the production and marketing of new energy vehicles, the safety risks of power batteries have gradually increased with the frequent incidents of spontaneous combustion and fire in electric vehicles used in vehicles, and battery safety issues have caused widespread concern in society. According to statistics, 60 percent of all fires are caused by batteries, and power battery management technology is central and key to ensuring the efficiency, safety and longevity of vehicles, as well as the technological commanding heights that nations compete to occupy.
On September 8, 2023, Goode EIS (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. organized a new energy series of courses - "Power Battery Thermal Protection Program" training. We invited Tian Yanci, a senior expert of the ABU Thermal Runaway Technical Program, mainly to teach and train technicians on how to do a good job of designing battery thermal management and identifying and protecting battery thermal runaways.
During the course of the training, the instructor gave a comprehensive explanation on the management of thermal protection of power batteries. The instructor discussed the analysis of thermal management requirements of power batteries, characteristics of thermal runaway injection, cell thermal runaway experiment and the development prospect of battery safety technology. The Instructor took a comprehensive, multi-faceted approach, building on theoretical foundations and incorporating practical applications to teach. At the same time, the instructor patiently answered questions from participants. Such training is designed to improve the effectiveness of thermal protection management for power batteries and to strengthen the understanding and application capabilities of participants.
The training aims to improve the basic theoretical level of thermal protection of power cells, promote information communication and sharing, and lay the foundation for the development and application of new energy businesses in the future.
